I’m too new to VA to know if this latest thaw means we’re done with “winter” or not, but honestly, WHO really cares?!
Get out and enjoy the gorgeous weather… it’s such a WELCOME CHANGE after these harsh weeks – Gah!
Below, i’ll post who’s attending market so you cam make your plans, lists and your budgets. WE’VE MISSED YOU ALL

Some people are finding local store shelves bare when they go shopping for eggs, due to cases of bird flu at some of the commercial suppliers. Singing Earth Produce, Twista J, Paradox and Hearthstone Farms all bring LOTS of fresh eggs from their local farms on the regular! Occasionally, a few other vendors share their eggs too, including this time around, Mountaineer MunchkinsHomestead, whose hens have been SUPER busy. BONUS: They have ½ dozen eggs, too, in case you need that smaller option!!
Each of these farms (and farmers) have their own distinct attributes, so come chat with them about theirs. What’s on your mind? Sustainable practices? The kinds of hens or eggs? What makes those pretty colors? Something else?

Mostly, we are excited at the prospect to bring you a supply of wings, directly from our farmer’s live chickens, lovingly tended, and fed with clean feed, given room to roam… Our birds have led a good life, coddled while alive.

Not yet sure if @Blueberry Still House will be up and running, as both Josh & Sara have been under the weather, but we remain hopeful as theirs is definitely a “Nifty-Gifty” booth and full of perfect choices for Vday, for men or women.

With any luck, the great thaw will free-up our mascot, Elmer. We’ve missed you coming by to take your selfies with him!
