Here’s your vendor layout for May 14th.
Note a few vendors have had a location change just for this week (see yellow highlights):
Vendor Spotlight: AARON “The Knifeman”

You’ve possibly walked by this fella, at his unassuming table. He was probably chatting with one of the market kids, either a customer’s child, a visiting family, or, in this case, a vendor’s child, or perhaps offering you a free sample of what he’s found to be the very best nut butters ever. He doesn’t sell them. But he’ll tell you all about them and how you can get your own, because you WILL fall in love with them. Or take home a free native tree seedling. He’ll tell you why, and what it is.
It’s been fun to see how Aaron is ALWAYS friendly, patient & compassionate. Always willing to teach any child anything he can, but what he’s really doing here at the Lexington Farmer’s Market, is waiting to meet YOU and sharpen your knives. In between knife blade sharpening, he’s in casual storytelling mode, always a delight.
If you’re at the market, you surely like to eat.
If you like to eat, and area at the market, there’s a really really good chance you like to cook, too.
And, if you like to cook, well, you surely need to keep your knives sharp and safe.
Do you know that a dull knife is far riskier than a just sharpened one?
Aaron has been with us for months charging merely by donation. However now that he’s completed his training, he’s come up with a fair price on a tune up for your blades, straight & serrated alike, up to 9 inches for $10. He’ll even deliver to you at home if you prefer. Your knives were probably something you invested in, for the joy of cooking, or to take control of your health outcomes, or something in between. Either way, Aaron will show you why he’s earned his nickname, whether its a fish-cleaning blade, a tomato knife, pocket knife, kitchen or maybe even garden shears.
He can even send you a reminder text message so you pack your knives in your car the night before market.
Just an all -around nice guy!
