Finally, this week, we are  spotlighting the entire market of producers, rather than one particular vendor . Sharing a small clip featuring a Market-Tasting of a multi-course meal prepared for a small group by a local chef, Troy of LexVegas Bistro.  As a local resident, with children in schools, with babysitting, plant sitting and housesitting neighbors, community members for clients, making use of local services like lawn mowing, after school karate, auto repair, tutoring, dentistry, weekly worship, and all the many other moving parts that come with being entrenched in your own community, Chef Troy really “gets” WHY you want to “shop small” & feature locally produced foods.

In the link that follows, he is featuring Lexington Farmer’s Market mushrooms, lamb, asparagus, locally milled grains, honey, syrups, jams and glazes, variety of sourdough breads, salads, fermented vegetables,  dressings, croutons, herbs, and charcuterie & cheeses from a nearby farm, he was so proud to show off the very Best of Blue Ridges, VA Edition that is our everyday fare!

Here’s your own invitation to dinner, where you, too, can….
