We are SO impatient to find out who the winner is, so to pass the time away , we’ve polled folks to hear how they might spend the winnings… but we’d be remiss if we didn’t first say “You’re ALL winners in our book“!!

- Fill a kiddie pool to overflowing with Apple-cider doughnuts and just dive in. Rough calculations ensued, at $7/order, 14 doughnuts in each order, $100 would buy 14 orders, about 200 pieces… Hmm.. #divingintodonuts has a nice ring to it! Alrighty, Chef Mike at @blueridgeciderdoughnuts – I hope you’re prepared if WLU student “A.G.” wins…
- The next student was dreaming of BACON, and since @TwistaJFarm often runs out, they opted to buy all Seven pounds. If you win, Jorge, we will pair you with Farmers Nick & Kara!!
- Anonymous on the street got dreamy at the idea of SIX weeks of beautiful blooms, calling it “hella-cheaper” than therapy. Lucky for Anonymous, we have three floral vendors to pick from , or share the love across them all… Decisions, decisions!!
- Finally, one of our Vegan/Vegetarian fans got excited about rotating menu possibilities, checking off about 4 full meals from @Abundantlifekitchenlexington, plus a few tidbits from JoEllen, the friendliest farmer at the market (Bar None),plus get her some kombucha with a few spare dollars. I’m not supposed to tell you that one of her “meals” was going to be all cheesecakes from Kate !! (It’s ok, your secret is safe with me, but fair warning, I CAN be bribed!!)
The “Honorable Mention” award goes to the caffeine-loving gentleman L.S., who contemplated a monthly subscription of Coffee Beans from around the world from www.asundercoffee.com. It’s maybe not as fun as the other ideas, but who can live without coffee??
