Our special events run same hours as the actual market. Market hours are:
8am – 12:30pm April thru December (High-Season)
10am -12:30pm Jan thru March (Off-Season)
What time can I load in and set up?Similarly, How long do I have to pack up?
Market allows you to arrive and set up one hour early. We encourage your prompt arrival for best space assignment, and potential early bird customer’s business.
If you still need clarity, see hours listed in the question directly above.
We expect you to pay your fees, pack up and vacate the premises No later than 1pm. Special accommodation can be made for an additional 30 minutes till 1:30 on a case by case basis, made directly with the Market Manager.
Do I have to stay the whole event? Similarly……… What if I sell out, or the event turns out to be slower than I’d hoped for?
Due to the tight space constraints of our location, there is NO option to leave early.
We encourage anyone vending with us to “celebrate” ALL there is on display at the Lexington Farmer’s Market with your own social media posts on facebook and/or instagram or other platforms (Linkedin, X, BlueSky, Nextdoor, others) so as to increase everyone’s foot traffic . The LFM will repost, and share your own posts, amplifying your efforts inside of our usual networks.
What does it cost to rent the booth space to get to vend on these dates?
Your pre-paid Zelle/Venmo fee of $20 must be received No Later Than 48 hours prior to the market.
Contact us to make alternative pre-paid arrangements (by December 9, or 16th, 8am, at latest)
Venmo IS preferred as we will each have a receipt of the fee-free convenience transaction.
All “Brick & Mortar” Banks will offer you a free Zelle option to transfer funds electronically for free – request Zelle payment info if this is your payment choice
This fee locks in your attendance
This fee earns you mention in our social media promotions
If you’d like your logo or photos included in our promotions, email us them
Will this rental fee cover one, or both holiday markets?
Each day you vend with us requires a $20 fee for each market.
Are there any other fees I should know about?
Yes! For administrative reasons, we DO expect a tiny contribution on the sales you make with us to be collected same day. The amount is 2 (two) % – rounded up to the nearest whole dollar. Note: We do NOT accept coins and you can pay this fee in cash or by check at closing time, to be handed to the manager before you leave our premises.
What is the weather cancellation policy?
We all bear the risks of all types of weather and do the very best we can to encourage people to still come out and enjoy our upbeat personalities, and our cheerful welcomes. A potentially slower day remains a wonderful opportunity to network with other vendors and make the most of deeper interactions with fewer visitors but we offer no cancellation or refund options.
Where do I set up and park my car?
Vendors will sell from only one vehicle and occupy only the one space assigned by the Market Manager. Maximum vehicle size is a standard pick-up truck; space size is 10 ft wide by approx 20 ft long. Use of a trailer or larger truck might be approved, and only on a case-by-case, space-available basis.
You will pull in, nose first, and set up your space facing outwards, from your trunk outwards, facing the other aisle. While NOT drawn to scale, the image below shows via overhead view of McCrums parking lot, vacancies where you will likely have an assigned spot. i.e., sections “4” & “5” with the Red “X”.
